About Us
Our group has served patients throughout the Albany Capital area.
All surgeons are board certified in Thoracic Surgery. Physicians in our group participate in institutional research and education and research on a national level through such groups as the American College of Surgeons Oncology Group (ACOSOG).
Thoracic Surgical Services Provided
While the majority of a general thoracic surgeon's practice deals with the care and treatment of patients with cancer of the lung and esophagus, Albany Thoracic & Esophageal Surgeons also provide a full range of procedures for benign disease such as spontaneous pneumothorax, empyema, gastroesophageal reflux disease, and hyperhidrosis.
A full spectrum of endoscopy procedures of the lungs and esophagus are also provided along with dilation, stenting, and laser procedures.
Whenever indicated, minimally invasive surgical approaches are used in the treatment of both benign and malignant chest pathology.
